Humanitarian assistance benefited nearly 2,000 people in Guayas with food and basic products after the effects of the winter season

The National Government delivered 500 humanitarian assistance kits in the Naranjito canton, province of Guayas, as part of the response to emergencies caused by the winter season.
The aid reached nearly 2,000 affected people, considering an average of four members per family, with supplies intended to cover immediate basic needs.

The intervention was coordinated by the Secretariat of Risk Management, which deployed actions in the territory to serve the households most impacted by
recent adverse events.
Each kit contains essential products such as rice, tuna, beans and oil, aimed at ensuring access to food in the midst of an emergency situation.
The Government indicated that this assistance is part of a rapid response strategy to mitigate the impact of the rains and provide support to the vulnerable population in the province of Guayas.
