Daniel Noboa extended the Jóvenes en Acción program for two months.
The plan expands its scope to benefit more young people with sustainable opportunities
President Daniel Noboa extended the Youth in Action program by two more months through decree 571, reaffirming his commitment to youth employment and sustainability. The decision, announced in a national broadcast last March 12, was formalized with the amendment to the executive decree of November 6.
According to an official statement from the Presidency, the program's extension strengthens economic reactivation and provides more opportunities to Ecuadorian youth. Dozens of young people seek to access this benefit, which grants $400 monthly to those participating in sustainable tasks.
The amendment to article 3 of decree 517 extends the monthly compensation of $400 for five months, including the program's initial three months.

This initiative allows participants to collaborate on strategic projects managed by the ministries of Environment, Agriculture, and Transportation.
The Youth in Action program has been successfully implemented in other countries in the region and seeks to involve youth in activities that boost the country's economic, environmental, and energy recovery.
Compensations are deposited into previously registered bank accounts, ensuring transparency and secure access to the funds.
With this extension, Noboa's Governmentreinforces its support for youth and promotes a sustainable economy, consolidating an initiative that has proven effective in the country's development.
