Minister De la Gasca confirmed partial adjustments in Noboa's cabinet.

The renewal is due to personal reasons of some officials and doesn't imply a complete change of the team

Minister of Government, José de la Gasca, confirmed on Monday, May 26, that President Daniel Noboa will make some adjustments to his ministerial cabinet. The modifications are due to personal reasons of certain officials and do not imply a complete restructuring of the team.

During a radio interview, De la Gasca stated that "President is a great strategist" and that he will make decisions based on the current political conditions. He also valued the principle of continuity, emphasizing that "the winning team doesn't change", alluding to the commitment of several members who will remain in their positions.

The official swearing-in of the cabinet was scheduled for May 24, after the presidential inauguration, but was suspended due to the schedule of meetings with foreign delegations. So far, Cynthia Gellibert and Stalin Andino have been ratified in key positions at the Presidential Secretariat.

De la Gasca emphasized that there is no mystery surrounding the issue and that "it will soon be known who stays or leaves". He added that the changes seek to provide continuity to the political project led by Noboa, with a pragmatic vision that responds to the country's new needs.

Noboa's administration has prioritized institutional stability and dialogue with various sectors. This careful selection of the team reflects a technical and strategic approach to addressing challenges in security, economy, and governance.

With well-thought-out decisions and no improvisation, Daniel Noboa consolidates his cabinet with a view to maintaining efficiency and cohesion in his second term. The continuity of key figures and the eventual incorporation of new profiles reinforce the Government's capacity to respond firmly to national challenges.
