Minister of Government, José de la Gasca, confirmed on Monday, May 26, that President Daniel Noboa will make some adjustments to his ministerial cabinet. The modifications are due to personal reasons of certain officials and do not imply a complete restructuring of the team.
During a radio interview, De la Gasca stated that "President is a great strategist" and that he will make decisions based on the current political conditions. He also valued the principle of continuity, emphasizing that "the winning team doesn't change", alluding to the commitment of several members who will remain in their positions.
The official swearing-in of the cabinet was scheduled for May 24, after the presidential inauguration, but was suspended due to the schedule of meetings with foreign delegations. So far, Cynthia Gellibert and Stalin Andino have been ratified in key positions at the Presidential Secretariat.
