By order of President Donald Trump, the United States military carried out a new wave of attacks against multiple targets of the Iranian regime this Saturday after the Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked another vessel in the Strait of Hormuz a few hours earlier.
"Following yesterday's U.S. attacks in response to the Iranian assault on the M/V Ever Lovely, Iran was given the opportunity to honor the ceasefire agreement, but chose not to when its forces launched a one-way attack drone that struck the M/T Kiku this morning at 4:30 a.m. (Eastern Time)," CENTCOM announced in a statement in the afternoon.
"The Panama-flagged tanker was transiting near the Strait of Hormuz with over two million barrels of crude. CENTCOM forces launched attacks today in direct response to the ongoing Iranian aggression against commercial navigation," the military statement continued.

A massive attack in response to a second violation of the truce
Sources informed Fox News that this time, the attacks ordered by Trump were more extensive and targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure. The targets included communication systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities, and maritime mining capabilities of the regime.
Of the four drones launched by the Islamic regime on Thursday, three were intercepted and one struck directly on the upper deck of a cargo ship. Trump detailed that this attack caused damage, but the ship was able to continue its course. The U.S. military attacked locations where the regime stored its missiles and drones in response to that violation of the truce.
