The president warned that he could "finish the job through military means" following Iran's attacks on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, sternly warned on Saturday night that the persistent violations of the ceasefire by Iran could lead to the resumption of war to finally put an end to the Islamic terrorist regime.

"There may come a point where we can no longer be reasonable, and we will be forced to militarily complete the job we started with great success", Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. "If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will cease to exist!".

While Trump was issuing the warning, the U.S. military was attacking selected targets of the Iranian regime in response to a drone attack from Tehran that struck a Panama-flagged ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which fortunately was able to continue its passage.

The military option is reactivated

"U.S. aircraft have just attacked storage sites for Iranian missiles and drones, as well as coastal radar sites, for violating the Ceasefire Agreement, ONCE AGAIN! It is very possible they will never learn!", the president wrote, expressing his outrage against the Islamic dictatorship.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that U.S. aircraft hit their targets in the retaliatory strike. "Iran had the opportunity to honor the ceasefire agreement but chose not to", the military body noted on X.

For his part, Vice President JD Vance, who leads the U.S. delegation in negotiations with the Ayatollahs' country, echoed Trump's statements and shared the same sentiments. "Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We have honored it. If they have disagreements about how the MOU is being implemented, they can pick up the phone", the White House's number two considered. "But violence will be met with violence", he concluded.
