The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said that the “Affordable Care Act” should be eliminated and replaced by a system that directly transfers public funds to citizens, instead of allocating them to health insurance companies.
In a publication published on the Truth Social platform, the president harshly criticized the current health legislation, which he referred to as the “Unaffordable Care Act” (“Unaffordable Care Act”). As he explained, the current model is excessively dependent on intermediaries and does not offer sustainable long-term solutions. In that regard, he stated that resources should be given directly to individuals so that they can choose and purchase their own health coverage
