Blow to fake news: Trump banned CNN and other leftist media from accessing the White House

President Donald Trump announced this Friday that he will prohibit the entry of CNN, MSNOW, and Politico to the White House for constantly spreading fake news. He also indicated that other leftist media might follow the same path.

"I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I prohibit entry to the White House for CNN, MSNOW (which recently changed their name due to lack of audience and credibility!) and Politico (the beneficiaries of an illegal and ridiculous $8 million subscription, a historic record, directly from the Government of the United States, under the corrupt Joe Biden, to keep them 'alive'! It seems like corruption to me!), as a result of their constant 'reporting' of fake news," Trump stated.

"The media should not be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America. Other fake news media will follow. Thank you for your attention to this matter!", the president concluded.

It is worth noting that the Associated Press (AP) had already been banned by Trump from certain areas of the White House and press group events after the news organization challenged the executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico as "Gulf of America" and refused to use the new name.

The AP took this measure from the White House to court and ultimately lost in the courts. Thus, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2 to 1 that Trump can prohibit this media outlet from entering the Oval Office.
