Due to the continuous violations of the ceasefire by the Iranian regime, the president ordered the resumption of the maritime blockade starting tomorrow
President Donald Trump ordered the United States Armed Forces to re-block Iranian ports starting this Tuesday following the constant violations of the ceasefire by the Islamic terrorist regime
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it will begin implementing the blockade starting tomorrow, July 14, at 4 PM Eastern Time. The goal of this action is to stop all maritime traffic entering and leaving Iranian ports to financially strangle the regime, whose economy depends on oil exports.
"CENTCOM forces will enforce the blockade against vessels transiting to or from Iranian ports and coastal areas. The U.S. Armed Forces continue to support the flow of traffic through regional waters for all ships that do not violate the blockade", the military command posted on X hours after Trump gave the order.
No one enters or leaves Iranian ports by order of Trump
Trump will charge a fee to monitor Hormuz
Following the announcement of the resumption of the naval blockade, Trump declared that the U.S. would become the "guardian" of the Strait of Hormuz: "We will become the guardian of the strait. Perhaps we will become the guardian angel of the strait, and we should be reimbursed for it," the president commented in an interview with Fox News this morning.
"When we do that, we will be reimbursed because other nations are very wealthy, they are on our side, and we cannot be expected to do that for nothing, unlike what we did for many years", the president added.
The U.S. Navy effectively surrounded Iranian ports for the first time earlier this year, from April 13 to June 18 more specifically. Trump, as part of a preliminary agreement to end the war negotiated by Qatar and Pakistan, had agreed to lift this blockade if the regime committed to ensuring free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, a promise that the Iranian terrorists failed to keep.
