Following the shameful ruling of the Supreme Court, President Donald Trump signed two executive orders on Thursday to restrict citizenship by birthright and end the practice of birth tourism, according to Axios.
In June, the Supreme Court overturned an executive order from Trump and interpreted that the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution grants U.S. citizenship to anyone born on that soil, including the children of undocumented immigrants or those who visit and settle in the country solely to give birth in the U.S.
"We had a very unfortunate decision in the Supreme Court regarding birthright", Trump stated from the Oval Office. "It was close, but a very, very unfortunate decision. So we are making adjustments because it is very unfair."

Trump's recent decree expands the definition of which children born in the United States will not be eligible for automatic citizenship, including the children of "foreign enemies of the United States, members of foreign terrorist organizations, and large categories of people who lobby and act on behalf of foreign governments".
The second executive order signed by the Republican directs the Secretaries of State and Homeland Security to develop new regulations and guidelines aimed at taking action against the birth tourism industry both within the United States and abroad.
