US Senator: 'Israel must do in Gaza what we did in Berlin and Tokyo'
Lindsey Graham made it clear that, after negotiations fell through, Israel must seek total victory
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) made it clear that, after months of fruitless negotiations with the terrorist group Hamas, Israel must radically change its strategy.
According to him, there is no longer any point in seeking impossible agreements with those who swear to destroy it, but rather to choose the only path that ensures a secure future for its citizens: total victory through military force.
Senator Graham was blunt: "Hamas is a terrorist organization with the explicit mission of destroying the State of Israel. They are religious Nazis. They hold Israeli hostages and there is no way to negotiate with them to end this war".
According to the senator, both President Donald Trump and Israeli leaders have reached the same conclusion: the only way to eradicate terrorism and guarantee security is to replicate what the United States did during World War II.

"Israel will do in Gaza what we did in Berlin and Tokyo: take the place by force and start over, hoping to offer a better future to the Palestinians, perhaps with the help of the Arab world".
The analogy is not accidental. Just as the Nazi and Japanese regimes were defeated militarily before reconstruction or peace could be discussed, the threat of Hamas—radical, ideological, and genocidal—will leave no room for any solution as long as it remains standing.
Trump, meanwhile, pointed out that Israel now faces an inevitable decision after the collapse of negotiations: "I know what I would do, but I don't think it's appropriate to say it publicly. Israel will have to decide".
He also accused Hamas of turning Gaza into absolute chaos, even stealing humanitarian aid intended for its own population.
Graham concluded his interview with a clear message: "Israel is losing soldiers week after week. The only way out is a full military operation to destroy Hamas, as we did with the Nazis and the Japanese. There is no future for the Palestinian people as long as Hamas continues to exist."
Graham and Trump give voice to a position that many in Israel have already adopted: there is no negotiating with those who use children as human shields, kidnap civilians, and dream of exterminating you. With Hamas, there are no treaties. There can only be total surrender.
