Donald Trump accused Claudia Sheinbaum of allowing fentanyl to enter the US.

The President of the U.S. imposes tariffs and claims that Mexico remains a free route for Chinese drugs

Donald Trump launched a strong warning against Mexico and Canada for allowing the constant flow of fentanyl into U.S. territory. "It better stop now!" he wrote on his Truth Social network, demanding real results and not diplomatic simulations. He directly pointed to Claudia Sheinbaum for tolerating the passage of a drug that has killed more than 100,000 Americans in recent years.

The response from the president was silence. Not a strategy, not a disassociation, not a single visible operation. Sheinbaum limits herself to protecting her image, while the crime routes remain active and protected. She talks about "rights" and "sovereignty," but in reality, fentanyl crosses the country as if it had immunity.

There is no will, no capacity, no courage to confront the cartels. The narco operates in peace, the authorities pretend to fight, and the federal government only acts when the scandal is already international. Sheinbaum doesn't lead a firm state: she leads a surrendered state.

The United States imposes order amid Mexican negligence

Amid Mexican passivity, Trump imposed a 25% tariff on imports from Mexico and Canada. Additionally, he sanctioned Chinese products as direct pressure to cut the flow of the chemical precursor. The United States demands action, while Mexico manages excuses.

Canada replied firmly: appointed a fentanyl czar and designated five cartels as terrorist organizations. And Mexico? It repeats conferences, militarizes uncontrolled areas, and calls "criminalization" the attempt to enforce the law.

The president of Mexico has no plan or intention to confront crime. Her only strategy is to protect the narrative of "transformation", even though the country is bleeding out in opioids.

Empty sovereignty, open border

Sheinbaum invokes sovereignty, but only when it suits her. When the United States demands responsibility, she plays the victim. When the narco advances, she remains silent.

Because in her government, the real power isn't in the National Palace... it's in Sinaloa.

Trump doesn't need authorization to act. And if Mexico doesn't stop the trafficking, Washington will, with tariffs, operations, or international pressure. When that happens, it won't be an attack on sovereignty: it will be the cost of having abandoned it.

Claudia Sheinbaum promised a government of peace. What she delivered was a country without law, without order, and without dignity. Now that fentanyl crosses the border... the U.S. decision to set limits on its own will too.
