One less: Criminal dies in Rivera
The incident took place in Rivera, on the border with the northern country
In the early hours of this Saturday, the city of Rivera was the scene of a traffic accident that ended with the death of a man. The individual, who minutes earlier had stolen a motorcycle in Santana do Livramento, Brazil, according to Hora Uno, met his end at the intersection of Paysandú and José María Damboriarena streets.
Surveillance cameras captured the moment when this criminal, speeding on the stolen motorcycle, violently crashed into a pickup truck that was driving through the area. Without yielding the right of way, the motorcycle rider sealed his fate with an impact so brutal that he had no chance to continue causing trouble. The pickup truck, undisturbed, continued on its way, while the thief was left lifeless on the asphalt.
