All detainees had outstanding arrest warrants and are accused of various crimes

For now, at least eight Kirchnerists were arrested this Sunday while they were casting their votes in different localities in Buenos Aires Province, including La Plata, Lomas de Zamora, Tigre, and Quilmes. All those arrested had active arrest warrants and are accused of crimes such as sexual abuse, aggravated robbery, and weapons abuse, among others.
In Lomas de Zamora, the Argentine Federal Police arrested a fugitive man accused of aggravated robbery under the "pirates of the road" modus operandi. The incident occurred in the morning hours, when the suspect arrived to vote at Secondary School No. 56, located at 1100 Avolas Street, in Villa Fiorito.
The detainee was identified as Facundo Alejandro Pelozo, 26 years old, who had an active arrest warrant against him. After his arrest, he was taken to the fifth police station of Villa Fiorito and was placed at the disposal of Prosecutor's Office No. 7.
In Quilmes, two more arrests were recorded. At Primary School No. 35, located on Craviotto Street, the Buenos Aires police apprehended a man accused of unlawful deprivation of liberty. In another educational institution in the area, located on 806 Street, officers arrested a fugitive wanted for a case of sexual abuse.

In Tigre, officers from the Tactical Operations Group (GTO) of the Buenos Aires police arrested a man with an arrest warrant for aggravated weapons abuse. The suspect arrived to vote at Guadalupe School, located at 2924 Avenida de los Constituyentes, in the town of Las Tunas, where he was intercepted and arrested by police personnel. According to security sources, he was placed at the disposal of the General Pacheco Prosecutor's Office and the Court of Guarantees No. 2 of San Isidro.
In Isidro Casanova, La Matanza district, the sixth arrest of the day took place: a 54-year-old man accused of sexual abuse was apprehended while voting. In another operation within the same district, a 31-year-old man with a national and international arrest warrant for repeated aggravated sexual abuse with carnal access was arrested at a local school.
In La Plata, meanwhile, a man accused of attempted homicide was arrested at Primary School No. 10, after being identified by authorities during the electoral process.
Finally, in San Nicolás, GTO personnel from the 2nd Police Station together with the local DDI arrested at Primary School No. 30 an individual identified by the initials M. M. S. The detainee had an active arrest warrant since March 7, requested by UFI and Trial No. 11, under the supervision of prosecutor Pablo Vespasiano, in the context of a case for "aggravated robbery in a populated area and in a gang and by scaling."
