TheArgentine market for brand-new vehicles continues to rise. Pickups maintain their leadership in the sector and are consolidating as the most sought-after in the country, with midsize trucks as the undisputed protagonists.
Reports show that 2025 reaffirms a clear trend: the local public continues to choose robust models, produced in domestic factories and with a strong off-road presence. Below is the updated ranking.

Toyota Hilux: the undisputed leader
The Toyota Hilux, manufactured in Zárate, remains first in sales. Between January and October, it accumulated 27,112 registered units, confirming its historic dominance in the local market.
Specialists emphasize that its reliability, range of versions, and local production continue to be key factors in maintaining the top spot.
Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok: a close battle
In second place is the Ford Ranger, produced in Pacheco. It recorded 22,744 units and remains very strong on the podium.

Very close behind is the Volkswagen Amarok, also manufactured in Pacheco, with 22,036 units. The minimal difference confirms the strong competition between the two.
Fiat keeps prominence with two compact models
The Italian brand has a strong presence in the compact segment with two vehicles that remain among the best sellers. The Fiat Toro achieved 7,203 units and the Fiat Strada was just behind with 7,196 units.

The pickups that complete the top ten
Further down is the Nissan Frontier with 5,905 units. It is followed by the Chevrolet S10 with 4,584 and the Ram Rampage with 4,373.
The ranking closes with two compacts: the Chevrolet Montana with 4,055 units and the Ford Maverick with 3,611 units.

The progress of the Fiat Titano, the new pickup manufactured in Córdoba, stands out. It accumulated 978 units, marking a gradual entry into the competitive midsize segment.
