A recent survey by DC Consultores revealed that President Javier Milei is clearly leading voting intention ahead of the 2027 presidential election, reaching 52.08%, placing him far above the rest of the alternatives.
The study was carried out between December 6 and 8 with about 1,710 cases, with a margin of error of +/- 2.2%, which included a special section on the political scenario ahead of the 2027 elections.
The electoral question appears in the final section of the report, within a section called “Bonus Track,” where DC Consultores asked the following question: “Shall we project the future? Who should govern after 2027?”. The results show wide differences between the options evaluated.
According to the survey data, Javier Milei's alternative in pursuit of reelection is clearly in first place, with 52.08% of preferences. According to these numbers, the current president would surpass the 50% threshold and would comfortably prevail in a potential first round, far above the rest of the options measured.

In second place there is a particular option, identified in the survey as “Falta (pero volver atrás ni loco),” which reaches 27.85%. This category is positioned as the main alternative behind Milei, although it doesn't correspond to a proper name in the political arena and reflects the rejection of traditional political parties, such as Kirchnerism.
Further behind, in third place, and second if only leaders with first and last names are considered, is Axel Kicillof, governor of the province of Buenos Aires. The ultra-Kirchnerist leader obtains only 18.75%, in a context marked by a complex internal dispute with sectors of the corrupt former president Cristina Kirchner.
The fourth place in the ranking corresponds to Maximiliano Pullaro, governor of Santa Fe, who records barely 1.39% voting intention. Pullaro had explored the possibility of building a national project under the umbrella of Provincias Unidas, but after the failure of that political coalition, his strategy became oriented toward a provincial reelection, after the modification of the local Constitution.
In fifth and last place is pastor and influencer Dante Gebel, with 0.69% of preferences, closing the list of options measured by the consulting firm.

The president with the highest positive image in South America
These results add to other recent surveys that show a favorable scenario for the Argentine president. In that context, a regional survey recently released by CB Consultora Opinión Pública placed Javier Milei as the president with the best image in South America, with 48.3% positive image, leading the continental ranking.
This way, the DC Consultores poll reinforces a panorama in which the current head of state not only leads voting intention ahead of 2027, but also remains the best-regarded head of state in the region, according to different public opinion studies released at the end of 2025.
