The director of the British NGO Greenpeace in Argentina, Diego Salas, became one of the most critical figures of environmentalism in the Government of Javier Milei, as part of the debate for the new Glacier Act approved this morning
.For almost two decades, Salas locally led the organization linked to the United Kingdom, aimed at the economic boycott of countries, holding back development and acting under the agendas and interests of foreign powers.
Throughout the reform debate, the environmental reference focused on questioning the easing of regulations to exploit natural resources, maintaining a position contrary to any modification that would enable new productive projects in certain regions prohibited by the old law.

The reform of the Glacier Law
However, the reform of the Glacier Law marks a profound change in the country's productive scheme. The regulatory update unlocks million-dollar investments in the mining sector, one of the key engines for Argentine economic growth
.This new framework allows the development of projects that had been paralyzed for years, creating conditions for the arrival of capital and the expansion of activity.
