Argentina National Team already has a fully confirmed schedule for the penultimate international window before the 2026 World Cup. In addition to the much-anticipated Finalissima against Spain, the team coached by Lionel Scaloni will play a friendly against Qatar just four days later, on March 31, at Lusail Stadium.
Both fixtures will be part of the Qatar Football Festival 2026, an international event that will take place between March 26 and 31 on Qatari soil and that will bring together six national teams: Argentina, Spain, Qatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Serbia. In total, six matches will be played, with Albiceleste as one of the main attractions.
The main event will take place on March 27, when Argentines and Spaniards face each other in the Finalissima. The clash between the champion of America and the champion of Europe will be played at Lusail Stadium and will have a special ingredient: it will be the first meeting between Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal, two generations face to face in an emblematic setting of recent soccer.
