Ana Oertlinger reported Daniel Osvaldo for violence against their son.
The former player is accused of beating his eldest son, Gianluca, severely
Ana Oertlinger, former partner of Daniel Osvaldo and mother of Gianluca, the son they have together, publicly accused the former player of physical violence against the teenager. According to her account in an interview with the program A la Tarde (América TV), the incident occurred in the early hours of January 13 and led to the imposition of a restraining order.
"He physically assaulted him. He punched him in the head, ribs, and right arm. All because he was angry", Oertlinger stated firmly. The woman explained that the incident happened a few hours after Osvaldo's birthday, during a family argument. "My son arrived late to the celebration because he had gone out with friends. When he arrived, Daniel was agitated, upset about the lack of communication with one of his other children. Even so, my son decided to stay because he noticed he was emotionally unstable", she recounted.
According to her testimony, the situation escalated when the teenager tried to help tidy up after the party. It was then that Osvaldo confronted him about his late arrival and for maintaining a close relationship with his half-brother's mother. "That's when the argument started that ended with the blows", the woman detailed, who took her son to a medical center to verify the injuries.

The complaint was officially filed, and since then, a 500-meter restraining order has been in place, preventing the former player from having any contact with his son, either in person or through devices or social networks. "Beyond the physical distance, I was worried about the control and emotional manipulation. This restraining order gives me some peace of mind", she stated.
Gianluca's mother also provided context about the father-son relationship. She claimed it was always intermittent, marked by prolonged absences. "He would disappear for months. Instability was a constant. But despite that, my son loved him, and that's what hurts him the most: the disappointment", she commented.
Although she acknowledged that there were other tense episodes in the past, she highlighted that this was the first time Osvaldo exerted violence of such magnitude. "He didn't want to report it, but I told him that violence doesn't recede, it only escalates. This had to be stopped", she explained. She also emphasized that the complaint was hers, although she decided to act after having medical and legal confirmation of the injuries suffered by the teenager.
