ANMAT ordered the withdrawal from the market of a wide range of cleaning products and pool chemicals that were being sold throughout the country. The decision affects both domestic use and institutional and industrial settings.
The measure aims to protect public health after serious irregularities were detected related to registrations, labeling, and traceability. The resolution was made official this Friday in the Official Gazette.

Which company came under scrutiny
The ban covers products manufactured by the company Rubén Alberto Wohr, based in the city of Esperanza, province of Santa Fe. According to the agency, the company did not comply with the requirements demanded for this type of item.
The decision was formalized through Provision 9289/2025, after an inspection that revealed multiple failures to comply with current regulations.
Which products were banned
The resolution includes household cleaning products for domestic, institutional, and industrial use. These include multipurpose cleaners, cream cleaners, disinfectants, fabric softeners, and insect removers.
