With just a few months left before the start of the 2026 season, Boca has started to make moves, and one of the footballers listed as a possible addition is Facundo Mura, defender for Racing. Journalist Martín Costa broke the news on Radio Splendid, where he hinted at an unexpected scenario by asking: "I believe he's on Boca Juniors' radar."

Mura, who is usually a substitute at right back for the Academia, will see his contract end in December, will become a free agent, and after almost four years in Avellaneda, could begin a new chapter outside the club. In recent weeks, there have been reports that link him to Inter Miami starting in January, which has further fueled speculation about the immediate future of the former Colón and Estudiantes player.

Meanwhile, journalist Ariel Ludueña reported on the "Como Te Va" show on DSports Radio that Racing is also considering possible reinforcements from Boca for 2026. Among the names being considered is Lucas Blondel, who has gone through a long period without playing time at Xeneize and is being closely monitored by the Academia's management.

What's next for Boca

With its focus still on the current season, the club from La Ribera is preparing for its Torneo Clausura quarterfinal match against Argentinos Juniors, scheduled for Sunday the 30th at 6:30 p.m. at La Bombonera. The "Sifón" Úbeda's team is coming off a convincing 2-0 home win over Talleres, while Bicho did the same as a visitor against Vélez with the same result. The last time they faced each other was on the opening day of the current Clausura. Back then, they drew 0-0 at La Paternal.
