Consignaciones Córdoba Firm held the first auction of 2026
Confirming the boom in livestock production, due to prices and expectations going forward, the steer remained firm in the first auction held by Consignaciones Córdoba, which took place at the Sociedad Rural de Jesús María.

The 300 to 350-kilogram (661.4 to 771.6-pound) steer was paid at $4,520 per kilo, almost 3% above the $4,400 at the end of last year.
Meanwhile, for feeder cattle, calves weighing 100 to 150 kilograms (220.5 to 330.7 pounds) fell from a maximum of $7,000 at the end of December 2025 to $6,100 this week, and calves weighing 200 to 250 kilograms (440.9 to 551.2 pounds) dropped from highs of $5,200 to $4,800.
According to SRJM, staff worked with a supply of 800 finished cattle and 1,280 feeder and breeding animals.
