The great moment for livestock farming was once again reflected in Tuesday's auction at the Jesús María Rural Society, north of Córdoba, managed by Consignaciones Córdoba.
At the event, it was observed that both the "invernada" and the "gordo" continue to rise compared to last week's auctions.
Calves weighing 100 to 150 kilograms (220 to 330 pounds) were sold at $6,250 per live kilogram, 4% above the value from seven days ago.
Meanwhile, steers weighing 300 to 350 kilograms (660 to 770 pounds) had a price of $4,460 per kilogram, 6% higher than the last auction.
The gap between calves and steers is around 40% in favor of the "invernada," which reflects the great business opportunity for breeders.
