Warner presented the first explosive trailer for F1, the upcoming film release produced by Apple Original Films. Starring Brad Pitt and featuring figures like Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, and the legendary Lewis Hamilton, the film ignited public anticipation.
Hamilton, seven-time Formula 1 world champion, is not only part of the cast but also contributed as a producer, bringing his experience to lend authenticity to the story.
A story of redemption and speed
In F1, Brad Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 star whose career was cut short by an accident in the 90s. Years later, he receives a new opportunity to compete again.
This comeback is made possible by Rubén Cervantes, his former teammate turned owner of the Apx team, which is going through a performance crisis. Hayes returns to the racing world, facing not only his own past but also the rise of Joshua Pearce, a young and ambitious driver played by Damson Idris.

The tension between the two drivers, one veteran and the other emerging, becomes the central axis of the story. The rivalry is experienced both on and off the track, reflecting classic motorsport conflicts like Senna vs Prost or Hamilton vs Alonso.
Filming with extreme realism and cutting-edge technology
The production of F1 was a technical feat. The team filmed during the actual intervals of the 2024 Grand Prix, in collaboration with the FIA, which gave the film unparalleled authenticity.
Joseph Kosinski, director of Top Gun: Maverick, led the project with a hyper-realistic cinematic approach. Between 25 and 30 cameras were used to capture the races from unprecedented angles, intensifying the sense of speed and danger.
