According to what was shown on Sálvese Quien Pueda, Abraham tried to downplay the controversy and assured the artist's representative that there was no internal conflict of any kind.
"There's nothing strange, Manu. Nobody has anything against her. If she wants to come, let her come, no problem," replied the director of Gente when asked by the manager.
However, the exchange became more heated when the representative insisted: "Do you agree that Joaqui is a character of the year? It's very strange, Juan."
