Clara Darín ventured into ceramics and created a handcrafted business with her mother.
Far from the media, Ricardo Darín's daughter found her place in manual art and design
Clara Darín decided to stay away from the public exposure surrounding her family. Meanwhile, her father, Ricardo Darín, and her brother, Chino Darín, shine in the entertainment world, she chose a different path: that of ceramic art.
Together with her mother, Florencia Bas, she built a project that combined family tradition and creativity. Since 2022, both have promoted a venture of handcrafted, hand-turned pieces, with a technique that Florencia perfected over the years.
The business emerged as an idea during the pandemic, but it was only two years later that they managed to establish it as a commercial activity. During that time, mother and daughter worked intensively on the design, firing, and perfection of each object.
Ceramics, art, and dedication: this is Clara Darín's universe
Each piece created —bowls, ashtrays, earrings, and other accessories— bears the mark of careful work and attention to detail. The aesthetics, colors, and textures reflect Clara's sensitivity, who pours her love for handmade items into every stage of the process.
Unlike the rest of her family, Clara chose media silence and a life focused on the intimate and the creative. Her business, though discreet, gained recognition for its quality, warmth, and the story behind it.

Working side by side with her mother not only consolidated a successful venture but also strengthened their personal bond. "I proposed to my potter mother that she be the one to produce the pieces. Since then, we have been developing this beautiful project together, with thousands of trials, errors, surprises, and satisfactions," Clara said during the launch in 2022.

From idea to realization: how the project was born
The initial push came from Clara. In May of the year before the launch, she thought of turning her mother's experience and craft into a shared business. With a clear aesthetic vision and sensitivity to detail, they transformed the workshop into a creative space.
For months, they explored shapes, colors, and techniques, with an craft-made approach that became their distinctive mark. Far from massive commercial formulas, they bet on what is made with dedication and patience.
The project not only marked a professional path for Clara but also an act of personal affirmation: building something of her own, without relying on the family name or the spotlight of fame.
