The Muslim communist Zohran Mamdani denounced that Trump threatened to deport him.
The left-wing candidate for mayor of New York City from the Democratic Party broke down in tears after the president's statements
The New York mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani, threw a pathetic tantrum against President Donald Trumpafter he warned that he would investigate his immigration status and arrest him for illegally opposing the deportation operations carried out by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
During a press conference at a detention center in Florida, nicknamed "Alligator Alcatraz," Trump stated that if Mamdani prevents ICE from operating in the city, then "they'll have to arrest him." He also insinuated that Mamdani had entered the country illegally, stating: "Many people say he's here illegally. We're going to look into all of that."
Mamdani, who arrived in the United States after emigrating with his family from Uganda, described Trump's statements as a "political attack." In a statement, he said: "The president threatens me not because I've broken the law, but because I refuse to allow ICE to terrorize our city."
He also denounced that these comments not only attack him, but attempt to "intimidate" all New Yorkers who fight for their rights and are not willing to live in the shadows. "If you raise your voice, they'll come for you," warned the radical Islamist.

Trump's warning comes amid a tense political climate and coincides with recent statements by Republican congressman Andy Ogles, who asked Attorney General Pam Bondito initiate a process to denaturalize and deport Mamdani.
Mamdani also replied to the praise that Trump directed at the current mayor of New York,Eric Adams, who recently decided to run for re-election as an independent, avoiding participation in the Democratic primaries. Trump called Adams "a very good person" and referred to the dropping of the corruption charges he faced as an example of his support.
According to President Trump, Adams was unfairly accused of criticizing the immigration policy of former Democratic president Joe Biden.

Mamdani, meanwhile, called Trump's praise for Adams "predictable" and warned that it demonstrates the urgency of removing Adams from the mayor's office, in what was interpreted as a dangerous statement from the communist. He accused the current mayor of replicating "the division, distraction, and hatred" characteristic of Trump.
With these statements, Mamdani reaffirms his position as one of the most radicalized candidates within the Democratic Party, which has been shifting further to the left for years, costing it the loss of several elections and the departure of important figures who left the party with great disappointment.
