Governor Martín Llaryora sent this Tuesday to the provincial Legislature the nominations to reorganize the Public Prosecutor's Office of Córdoba. The initiative seeks to materialize a new judicial control board and seal a political agreement with Radicalism for the Deputy Prosecutor's Office.
The current Deputy Attorney General Bettina Croppi was proposed to occupy the position of Prison Ombudsperson with the rank of member of the Court. To fill the vacancy that the official frees up, the governor will remove his trusted lawyer Néstor Gómez, who will leave the Public Defense. Gómez will assume office as one of the deputies in the Attorney General's Office after having served as vice president of the Lottery of the province of Córdoba.
The Legislature approved on Thursday, December 18, the nomination of Carlos Lezcano as the next Attorney General, who will take office in March. The official admitted that the head of the executive branch entrusted him with the task of calming the internal conflict existing in the Attorney General's Office among the different factions.

Reorganization of judicial power
Those appointed by the ruling party in the Public Prosecutor's Office will outnumber the historic delegates of delasotismo and schiarettismo. Llaryora had previously appointed Alejandro Pérez Moreno as Deputy Attorney General, thus consolidating his own judicial board in the courts.
The head of the executive branch could place in the Public Defense Office Jorge Folloni, who served as secretary of Environment of the Municipality. The official is currently in charge of the Environmental Administrative Court, which was created to make effective the collection of fines in the city.
The new structure of the Prison Ombudsperson's Office will be headed by Croppi and will have prosecutor Iván Rodríguez as one of the key officials. Rodríguez acted in the parallel case of the Neonatal Hospital, where he closed the investigation into a meeting prior to the complaints about the deaths.

Political agreement with the opposition
The nomination of Radical politician María Florencia Degano was proposed for Deputy of the Prison Ombudsperson's Office after an agreement with factions of the UCR. In the government, officials admit that the agreement was woven by the secretary general of the Governorship, David Consalvi, and the Radical leader from Río Tercero. There was also a proposal for Deputy of the Prosecutor's Office for attorney Guadalupe Trillo, who is considered a person of extreme trust of the governor.
