The judicial system of the province of Córdoba will undergo a significant change that will have a positive impact on citizens' economy. Through Resolution No. 38, the Ministry of Economy and Public Management of the province decided to cut the rate of the Court Fee from 3% to 2%. This measure responds to an urgent need to ease the excessive tax burden that falls on those who must resort to local courts.
The origin of this modification lies in Agreement No. 01, a document in which the Supreme Court of Justice raised the urgency of this fiscal adjustment now implemented. The judges of the High Court considered that the previous cost was excessive to guarantee an essential service without financial obstacles. The provincial administration validated these technical grounds, seeking to ensure that justice is not a costly privilege for taxpayers.
The main objective of this regulation is, according to the official recitals, "to mitigate the economic burdens faced by those who turn to the judicial system." With this new tax scheme, the authorities seek to protect the constitutional right of access to jurisdiction without taxes becoming an insurmountable barrier. Reducing the tax pressure on legal procedures allows conflicts to be solved more quickly and economically for all parties.

Tax relief for the justice service
It is worth remembering that the Bar Association of Córdoba had previously expressed its rejection of the tax increase that was established by Provincial Law 11,090. That legislation had raised the operating costs of judicial proceedings, creating an atmosphere of discontent in the professional sphere of the province. The current correction through the cut of one percentage point represents a necessary step toward a state administration that is less burdensome.
Lower taxes in the judicial sphere encourage citizens to defend their legitimate rights without fear of facing conditioning initial costs. This reduction from 3% to 2% will be applied directly during the current administrative cycle for all new cases that are filed. Efficiency in collection should never depend on fees that suffocate the private sector or that limit the pursuit of fair legal solutions.
The impact of this decision will result in greater operational transparency within the management of the local Ministry of Economy and Public Management. By reducing economic barriers, the administration allows the legal sphere to operate with greater fluidity and less pressure on private assets. Promoting an environment of low tax burden in essential services is crucial to strengthening the legal security of all residents of Córdoba.
