Córdoba hosted the Tech Week, an event where artificial intelligence (AI) showcased its potential to transform businesses. Salesforce Argentina's director, Silvia Tenazinha, stated that AI doesn't replace people, but rather makes them more efficient. The event, organized by Córdoba Clúster, brought together more than 4,200 visitors.
One of the most notable cases was that of an ART that reduced processes from 29 hours to just 9 minutes thanks to an autonomous agent. A flower shop also optimized customer repurchase by cleaning and organizing its data with AI. In the sports sector, a gym chain recovered more than 4,000 lost digital contracts.
The application of AI also reached a dealership, which uses agents to schedule test drive appointments and coordinate with salespeople. "It is no longer optional to use AI; companies that do not use it are left out of a fierce market," said Tenazinha. For Córdoba, these improvements open a competitive horizon in key sectors.

New roles and local economy
According to ILO data, 97 million jobs would be lost due to AI, but another 120 million new jobs will be created. The key is to train workers so they can transition to the jobs of the future. In Córdoba, this means the possibility of generating more quality jobs in health, agriculture, and industry.
The new profiles include "agent governors" and system trainers, where even psychologists participate to provide empathy to the models. This reinforces the idea that technology doesn't displace, but rather generates different professions, adapted to the new economy.
