Almost two months after the start of the trial for the death of Diego Maradona, psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov broke her silence before the judges of the Oral Criminal Court No. 3 of San Isidro. It was during the 16th hearing, in which she decided to testify voluntarily.
Cosachov, charged in the case, asserted that she always acted from her professional role with full conviction. "What I did was the right thing," she stated at the beginning of her presentation before prosecutors Cosme Iribarren and Patricio Ferrari, the court, and her defense attorney, Vadim Mischanchuk.
Defense of home hospitalization
The psychiatrist firmly defended the decision to carry out home hospitalization for Maradona. According to her, this option was agreed upon with the entire family and the medical team.

"There were formal and informal meetings, in hallways, with directors, doctors, close associates, brothers, and daughters. It was clear that we were going with home hospitalization," she expressed before the judges.
