Daniela Christiansson, the wife of former footballer Maxi López, cannot hide the excitement she feels for the upcoming match between Argentina and Switzerland in the 2026 World Cup. The model, who has strong ties to both countries, is looking forward to the quarter-final match and made it clear how she experiences these special moments in her daily life.

In a video she posted on her social media, the Swedish woman shared her feelings about the previous matches. She expressed immense pride in Switzerland's progress and also celebrated Argentina's dramatic victory. “Argentina-Switzerland is coming. I can't believe it,” she said enthusiastically, highlighting the mix of emotions coursing through her.

The couple splits their time between Europe and Buenos Aires, and Daniela supports the growth of their children Elle and Lando in Switzerland. In fact, the kids have also caught the football fever. She mentioned that even Lando stayed up to watch the match against Egypt because the timing in Europe allowed it.

Pride for Both Teams

The influencer was very happy about Switzerland's qualification after defeating Colombia in penalties. At the same time, she closely follows every match of Argentina, the team with which Maxi has such a strong history. “What a match that’s going to be,” she said with a smile, anticipating a thrilling clash.

Daniela has lived in Switzerland for years, but they had recently moved back to a house in Tigre with the kids to be closer to Maxi's work commitments in television. However, due to practical issues with the pet, documentation, and some pending details from the move, she decided to return to Europe for a few weeks. She took advantage of her husband being in the United States covering the World Cup to organize everything.

In her stories, she explained that the trip also served to spend time with loved ones and attend to some work in the old continent. It wasn't a major change of plans, but rather a necessary pause to close chapters and better prepare for the move.
