The renowned streamer Davoo Xeneize once again set social media ablaze with a strong statement about the current situation of Argentine soccer. In a recent broadcast, he harshly criticized the management of the AFA, led by Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia, the structure of the championship, and the lack of response to the privileges of certain clubs.

"Barracas does whatever it wants and nobody says anything here," he said, referring to the team presided over by Matías Tapia, son of the AFA president. "In four days, the Argentina National Team plays and nobody remembers Barracas Central. Nobody cares about Argentine soccer," he continued, reflecting his anger at the general indifference.

Davoo questioned the loss of quality and competitiveness that, according to him, the local tournament has suffered in recent years. "Argentine soccer used to have 20 teams, with 10 of them being great teams, with 18 matchdays, home and away, you knew everyone, there were visiting fans, the stars played here. Argentine soccer is garbage, take responsibility," he said, lamenting the contrast with past times.

Despite his disappointment, the streamer acknowledged that his passion for Boca keeps him tied to the tournament: "Boca is above everything in my life. Obviously, I'm going to keep watching Argentine soccer, but not because I like it, but because I'm a Boca fan."

"Argentine soccer is sustained by the passion one has for Argentine soccer, but not because of the executives or the squads or what they do in the first division," he commented.

"No genuine fan of Argentine soccer can support 30 teams in the first division, no Argentine soccer fan can support two groups of 15, no Argentine soccer fan can support the fact that you don't face half the teams in the year, that you play against a rival four times at their stadium and never at home," he added.

Finally, he directly targeted the AFA for the prizes awarded to the champion of the Professional League and compared them to Brazilian soccer: "They give you 500 thousand dollars, which is what CONMEBOL provides. AFA doesn't contribute a single peso. Meanwhile, the champion of Brazil receives 12 million dollars. But well, we're world champions."

In another part of his statement, Davoo doubled down and referred to alleged attempts at censorship within the environment: "Silence me, man. I know they send people to silence some individuals, but they can't silence me. Let them try. I have nothing to lose with them," he said.

"Do you know how silencing works? If you keep saying this about me, I'll get you fired. But what can they do to me. I don't work with them, I couldn't care less about them," he added.

Immediately afterward, he went further and held the AFA president directly responsible: "Tapia is the main person responsible for the poor state of Argentine soccer and an accomplice to the disgraceful actions of Barracas Central in the First Division. I'm saying it publicly and I take responsibility. If that brings me problems, I'll debate them, because I'm not disrespecting anyone, I'm simply saying what I think."

Finally, he targeted journalists and influencers who, according to him, allow themselves to be manipulated by money: "I'm not like those who sell out or those who you give money to and they stay quiet. I'm not like those Twitter users whom Brito or Tapia pay to say what they want. I say what I think."

Davoo Xeneize's message, full of frustration and anger, resonated with many fans who share his diagnosis: a disorganized Argentine soccer, with uncompetitive tournaments and increasingly marked economic inequalities.
