After Chelsea's victory over Paris Saint-Germain, the Club World Cup already has its final ranking and left several points for analysis: a dominant champion, teams that surprised, and others that finished very low.
Unsurprisingly, the London side was crowned as the best in the tournament after finishing first with 18 points, followed by the other semifinalists: PSG (15), Real Madrid (15), and Fluminense (11), one of the surprises of the tournament. Further down are Borussia Dortmund (10), Bayern Munich (9), Al-Hilal (8), and Palmeiras (8), all with outstanding performances that took them to the quarterfinals and placed them in the upper part of the table.

In addition to Flu's historic performance and Verdao's decent showing, the other two Brazilian teams, Flamengo and Botafogo, finished among the top 16 by advancing past the group stage. Fla finished eleventh with 7 points, the result of two victories (one of them against champion Chelsea), one draw, and one loss, and Fogao finished fourteenth with 6 points, thanks to two victories (one of them against finalist PSG) and two losses.
