Firefighters from Córdoba had another performance worth highlighting. A 65-year-old woman was rescued from a forest, after she developed a neurological condition in San Alberto, in the western part of the province.
She had paralysis on half of her body and face. The operation required almost two hours of walking along difficult-to-access trails.
On Wednesday afternoon, a DUAR unit, together with Volunteer Firefighters and the Emergency Service, arrived at the Río Hondo area, where they rescued the woman.
The condition of the terrain and the lack of roads suitable for vehicles prevented the entry of medical vehicles to the home, so the teams had to enter on foot and provide primary assistance to the victim at the site.
Once she was stabilized, a complex extraction operation was carried out, a task that took about an hour and forty minutes, after which she was transferred to Mina Clavero Hospital.
