Ford launches more versions of the Ranger and reaches a production record
The brand is investing 40 million dollars in its Pacheco plant and is adding new versions of the Ranger
Ford Argentina has confirmed a new investment in its Pacheco plant to manufacture more units of the Ranger and add new work-oriented versions.
The project includes a strong boost to production, the incorporation of personnel, and technological improvements in the plant, which already stands out for its level of automation.

What does this new Ford investment include?
- Increased manufacturing pace: the plant will reach a capacity of more than 80,000 units per year, 30% more than in 2024.
- New versions: the Single Cab and Chassis configurations are being added, designed for commercial use, with greater load capacity and adaptability.
- More employment: more than 150 direct jobs will be created, in addition to the 160 already incorporated so far this year.
- Plant modernization: new robots and facilities are being integrated in stamping and bodywork.
Which market are the new Rangers intended for?
The Single Cab and Chassis versions are aimed at commercial clients seeking robustness, technology, and adaptability for their businesses. This is a strategy to expand the range of uses for the Ranger and attract new audiences.
The Pacheco plant, increasingly modern
The plant was transformed between 2021 and 2023 and today is one of the most advanced in the region. With this investment, it adds smart tooling and next-generation robotics.

Record production in 2025
Ford expects to exceed 80,000 units manufactured this year, representing a historic record for the domestic Ranger. This is 45% more than in the year the new model was launched.
To which countries is the Argentine Ranger exported?
Seventy percent of production is exported to markets such as Brazil, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The Ranger is thus consolidating itself as one of the country's main export products.
