The Ford Mondeo remains available in China, where the oval brand produces it together with Changan. There, the restyling of the generation introduced in 2022 emerged, now adding improvements in design, technology, and mechanics, according to Carscoops.
The model received visible changes both inside and out, in addition to adjustments to its powertrains. The result is a more modern sedan that is competitive within a segment that keeps high demand in the Asian market.

New exterior design: redesigned front end and two-tone wheels
The sedan measures 4,935 mm (16 feet 2 inches) in length and debuts a completely revised front section. The headlights leave behind the double format and adopt a more streamlined design, accompanied by a redesigned grille and a bumper with more pronounced lines.
On the sides, new two-tone alloy wheels appear, reinforcing the sporty aesthetic. The rear section also changes: Ford modified the interior of the headlights and the lower section of the bumper, with a cleaner and more modern finish.
Interior: giant screens and redesigned center console
Inside, the Mondeo retains its combination of screens: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 27-inch multimedia system, now equipped with the updated SYNC+.

Additionally, Ford relocated some physical controls and added a new center console with a wireless charger and cup holders, aiming for a more practical and technological interior.
Mechanics: more power and hybrid option
The mechanical range also received improvements. According to the information released, the sedan incorporates a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine with 196 hp and a 2.0 EcoBoost with 261 hp, both paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The model also retains the hybrid option, which combines a traditional engine with an electric one to achieve 288 hp of combined power, together with a CVT automatic transmission. This configuration aims to improve efficiency without sacrificing performance.
