On the show Intrusos, they revealed that Marcelo Campos, her former chauffeur, is organizing a demonstration for the same day as the host's birthday, which has reignited a dispute that has been in the courts for months.
The person in charge of releasing the information was Rodrigo Lussich, who stated on air that a flyer had begun circulating on social media with the slogan: "Everyone to Mirtha's birthday on Monday the 23rd. It is also one year since she fired her chauffeur Marcelo. Let's march." According to his explanation, the call would seek to demonstrate in front of the place where the diva celebrates another anniversary.
During the broadcast, Lussich made ironic remarks about the situation and pointed out that it would be an unprecedented event: a protest directed against one of the most emblematic figures in Argentine television. He also hinted at the chosen date.
On the same show, they aired an audio attributed to the former chauffeur, in which he recounted his version of events. According to his explanation, he was dismissed one day after having driven the host to her previous birthday. He stated that the decision was communicated to him by a lawyer on behalf of the family and that he did not receive a specific cause beyond a "generic" argument.
Campos also questioned the lack of public statements from the host's inner circle and maintained that the dispute will continue in the courts. He anticipated that the next step will be the opening of witnesses within the judicial process and expressed his expectation that the ruling will be impartial.
The conflict is not new, but the call for a demonstration on such a symbolic date once again strains the relationship and puts the spotlight on a situation that seemed to have been relegated to the background. It would not be a coincidence, since it coincides with the anniversary of Campos's dismissal.
