While enjoying the mid-season break of the Formula 1 after the Hungarian Grand Prix, an interview that Franco Colapinto recorded weeks ago with British comedian Amelia Dimoldenberg came to light. In the show Passenger Princess, conducted before the Catalonia Grand Prix, the Argentine driver talked about his routines, his superstitions, his passion for mate, and the friendships he has built since arriving in the top category.

The production brings together different drivers on a tour of the calendar circuits aboard a street car. This time, Colapinto and Dimoldenberg took a lap around the Barcelona-Catalonia track in a model of Alpine while discussing the Argentine's life off the track.

When asked about his favorite drink, the driver from Pilar did not hesitate for a moment. "Mate. I drink that all day. I'm obsessed. I'm addicted", he replied with laughter, making it clear that the traditional Argentine infusion accompanies him even during competition weekends.

Although he stated that he does not consider himself a superstitious person, he acknowledged that he maintains an unchanging routine before getting into the single-seater. "I usually put everything that goes to my right first. I get into the car from the right side, I put on my right glove first, then my right boot...", he explained about the superstition he repeats at every Grand Prix.

One of the most relaxed moments of the interview came when he was asked which drivers he has a better relationship with in the paddock. After joking that he "hates everyone", the driver highlighted those he considers his friends within Formula 1. "Alex (Albon), because he was my first teammate; Gabi Bortoleto, we are both Latin Americans and quite close; Kimi (Antonelli), who is doing quite well", he explained. The absence of Pierre Gasly among the mentioned names was one of the details that caught the most attention.
