The separation of Gimena Accardi and Nico Vázquez was one of the year's most shocking events in the entertainment industry. After more than a decade together and having established themselves as one of the most beloved couples in the scene, the announcement of their breakup took both the public and much of the artistic community by surprise.
Several months later, the actress spoke about the subject again in an interview with La mañana con Moria (El Trece), where she appeared reflective, sincere, and at times sharp when referring to the pace at which each person processes the end of a romantic relationship.
From the outset, Accardi made it clear that she is going through this stage focused on her projects and on strengthening her emotional well-being: "Time takes care of putting things in order. Therapy, friends, my life, my work... I'm dedicating myself a lot to work," she said.

Although she avoided dramatizing, she acknowledged that the breakup was not easy: "Any separation is tough after so many years, but it was with love and what's important is that our bond is in a good place."
However, the conversation took a different turn when she was asked about Nico Vázquez's new romance, as he made his relationship with Dai Fernández, his co-star in the play Rocky, public.
The beginning of that relationship, so soon after the separation, reignited rumors of infidelity and caused multiple comments.

Accardi, without directly referring to Vázquez, left a remark that resonated on social media: "I think it's healthy to respect the time needed to grieve. You should take as much time as you need to feel okay, cry as much as necessary, and only then start to see the light."
Many interpreted her words as a subtle hint about how quickly her ex moved on. Still, Gimena avoided any sign of resentment or desire for revenge.
When the journalist asked if she felt like "getting back at" him in some way because of Nico's new romance, Accardi firmly denied it: "For me, revenge, getting even... no. Life gives you what it has to give you. You can't set out to bother or harm the other person on purpose."
The actress insisted that her energy is focused on her personal process: "That's not my way. I'm dedicating myself 100% to myself, to my well-being, to recovering, to healing, to doing my therapy, and to reconnecting with myself. Once I'm okay, I can look at the world with new eyes."
