'Grok Code Fast 1': Elon Musk's AI that is revolutionizing programming

Elon Musk presents Grok Code Fast 1, an AI that generates and corrects code in multiple languages at high speed

Elon Musk and his company xAI have introduced Grok Code Fast 1, an artificial intelligence model designed to generate code and fix errors faster than the competition. The tool is available for free for a limited time on several platforms.

With the arrival of Grok, developers will be able to create code in TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, C++, and Go more efficiently.

How Grok Code Fast 1 works

The model was designed from scratch with a new architecture and a pre-training corpus filled with programming content. In addition, xAI selected high-quality datasets that reflect real coding tasks, including bug fixing.

According to the official statement, Grok's servers are optimized to respond quickly. It combines inference and supercomputing techniques that allow it to generate code even before finishing reading the first paragraph of the requested task.

Speed without sacrificing accuracy

The xAI team claims that Grok keeps high accuracy and a low error rate. Cache optimizations achieve success rates above 90% with launch partners.

Availability and costs

Grok Code Fast 1 is already available on platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Cline, Roo Code, Kilo Code, opencode, and Windsurf. Monetization is affordable: 20 cents per million input tokens, 1.5 dollars per million output tokens, and 2 cents per cached input tokens.

A bet on programming without knowing how to program

Grok joins the code generation vibe segment, aimed at users who are not necessarily programmers. The real test will be the opinion of the developer community when they start using it on a large scale.
