'Honkai Nexus Anima' arrives: the new free game from HoYoverse inspired by Pokémon
HoYoverse launches Honkai Nexus Anima, a free creature-capturing game, with a closed beta on PC and iOS
HoYoverse, the creators of Genshin Impact, have officially announced Honkai Nexus Anima, a free adventure game featuring creature capture in the style of Pokémon. Registration is now open for the first closed beta, available on PC and iOS.
The title introduces the concept of Nexus, invisible bonds that connect opposing ideas such as Love and Hate or Light and Darkness. When these bonds break, their energy fragments into Anima, creatures with unique abilities that players must capture and train.

Exploration and narrative in Honkai Nexus Anima
Players take on the role of a traveler who escapes captivity and journeys through different worlds, starting in a peaceful village. Anima not only assist in combat but also enrich the story by revealing secrets from the protagonist's past.
The narrative combines exploration and strategic battles. It offers a system where the bonds between character and Anima affect the game's development and the challenges the player faces.
Registration and beta test
The Nexus Bond Test will allow users to experience the game before its official release. All data will be deleted at the end of the test, and participants will be selected from those who register before September 12.
