The president Javier Milei visited this morning the ORT School to give a talk to 4th and 5th year students of the institution, as part of an activity for the 90th anniversary of ORT Argentina.

The president was in charge of closing the event and was received with a huge ovation from the students, who voluntarily attended the event.

When Milei entered the auditorium, all the students stood up and began to applaud the President. At the end of the activity, numerous students approached the president to take photos with him.

The talk was titled “Ethics as State Policy” and took place within the framework of the seminar “Artificial Intelligence and Education”, which included participants and speakers such as Dr. Jorge Grünberg, Rector of ORT University Uruguay, and Milei himself.

Taking advantage of the fact that the day before, the ruling party had achieved key legislative victories in the Chamber of Deputies, the president reaffirmed that he would not change the economic plan.

In the face of pressures to change the successful economic model, he warned that he is not willing to negotiate his ethical values. In this context, he pronounced one of the phrases that later went viral on social media: "Populism cannot be defeated with more populism; it is defeated by doing things right".

The presentation also served as a framework to preview content from his upcoming book, titled: "Ethics as State Policy".

Milei spoke about how Artificial Intelligence impacts education and society, combining these technological concepts with the moral and transparency principles that should govern a government.

In another part, the president made direct reference to the Ten Commandments, placing special emphasis on the precepts of "you shall not steal" and "you shall not bear false witness" to criticize the practices of traditional politics. He also again attacked the left and described Marxism as a "satanic theory"

The president's participation was linked to the celebration of ORT Argentina's 90th anniversary and concluded with the president's address to the students. The institution's authorities had previously informed families that participation in the activity was voluntary.

On this occasion, the highlight of the day was the reception the President received among the 4th and 5th year students, who cheered him upon his arrival and later approached to take photos with him.
