Javier Milei interviewed on LN+: 'Kirchnerism has become a minority'
The President commented on his government plan, humiliated Kirchnerism, and provided a precise overview of the Middle East
President Javier Milei gave a forceful interview on the La Nación+ channel, where he spoke with journalist Esteban "El Pelado" Trebucq. In a firm and direct tone, the head of state denied rumors, reaffirmed his political stance, and sent a clear message to his critics and opponents. In response to reports circulated by some media outlets that suggested a possible pardon for Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, the President was blunt:
"I don't have the slightest intention of anything like that. Our campaign slogan was 'those who do wrong, pay for it.' I find it abhorrent," he exclaimed.
Milei also directly addressed the recent statements of the former president, who claimed that the libertarian model "is collapsing." The President replied harshly: "She was part of Alberto Fernández's disastrous, deplorable, and filthy government... They left with inflation running at 1% per day."

In defense of his economic project, the La Libertad Avanza leader upheld the principle of competition as the guiding axis of the new Argentine economic order: "We're building a free economy. All the protected and subsidized sectors, those who live off others, now have to compete. Those who do things well, do well. Those who do things poorly, go bankrupt," he commented.
During the interview, Milei also targeted analysts and economists who, according to him, have systematically failed in their forecasts: "Economists have been getting inflation forecasts wrong all the time. There are plenty of pundits who keep missing the mark," he stated.
"The Oracle of Delphi gave advice but didn't make decisions. This is a government that makes decisions," he concluded.

In another part of the interview, the head of state defended the legitimacy of his mandate and questioned the double standard of the Kirchnerist opposition: "It seems that democracy only exists when they win. I believe they're a minority, they're no longer a majority."
Milei offered words of recognition to the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, regarding the creation of the new Federal Department of Investigations, an initiative the president described as historic: "What she just accomplished is impressive, an Argentine FBI. She's an exceptional minister, I have nothing but words of admiration," he praised the official.
The most international and empirical segment of the interview came with a deep reflection on the situation in the Middle East. Milei recalled his recent return from Israel, while contextualizing the conflict with Iran: "I'm an ally of Israel. I want people to understand something essential: Israel accepts the existence of other countries. Iran doesn't accept Israel's existence. It's a theocracy that wants to exterminate the only free and democratic country in the Middle East."

For the President, what is happening in the region is much more than a territorial conflict: "Israel is already fighting the battle of the West. Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis attack it... but the left also attacks it. There's a whole demonization of Israel and, especially, of my dear friend Bibi Netanyahu," he stated.
He continued: "The theocrats attack Israel because they want to make it disappear. The left attacks it because Israel represents the values of capitalism and Judeo-Christian culture. They want to destroy the moral foundation of the West."
In this context, he denounced a perverse alliance between both extremes: "The left and the theocracies have become occasional partners. One wants to erase Israel from the map; the other wants to bring down capitalism. That's why they demonize it. They want to turn it into an international leper, while Iran arms itself as a nuclear power."
Milei also recalled Israel's role in previous conflicts: "Israel already saved us from Iraq in 1981, from Syria in 2007, and now it's doing it again. It's saving Western culture. We can't make such a mistake," he said. The President also denounced the double standard of the international community: "Iran launches missiles at civilian targets. If Israel didn't have the Iron Dome, it would already have more than a million dead. In contrast, Israel responds with surgical strikes against high-ranking military leaders. It fights with gallantry and honor," he declared.
When asked about the attacks in Argentina, he was categorical: "Iran attacked the Israeli Embassy and AMIA. 114 dead. It's an enemy of Argentina." He didn't miss the opportunity to highlight the difference with previous governments: "Who declared Hezbollah and Hamas terrorist organizations? We did. Not Kirchnerism. We signed a new memorandum. Cristina will have to explain hers to the courts. I don't know if that doesn't constitute treason against the homeland."
