Jorge Capitanich accused Massa's and Alberto's SIDE of the murder of Cecilia Strzyzowski

Jorge Capitanich stated that the murder of Cecilia Strzyzowski was an operation by Massa and Alberto's SIDE to remove him from the presidential candidacy in 2023. The former governor of Chaco, now employed by Axel Kiciloff at Banco Provincia and a senatorial candidate, made strong statements against the administration he was once part of.

On the Chaco streaming program "Chaco TV Stream," the historic Kirchnerist administrator of one of the country's poorest provinces sat down to rail against President Javier Milei, but ended up doing so against his own allies.

"That case is an intelligence service operation because I was going to fight for the presidential candidacy in 2023, I have no doubt about it," he said, referring to Cecilia's murder. He claims that, at that time, he "was emerging" as one of Peronism's possible candidates for the highest office, suggesting that behind the judicial case there were maneuvers responding to political interests.

The murder of Cecilia Strzyzowski, which shocked the country in June 2023, involved members of the powerful Sena family, Capitanich's political and social allies in Chaco. The crime revealed a web of connections between the Sena family and provincial power, which dealt a severe blow to the then governor's image.

Capitanich's statements did not go unnoticed and caused outrage in sectors of civil society and on social media, where people demanded respect and condemned any attempt to trivialize the case. Meanwhile, the accusation he made on that streaming program is no small matter: he speaks of the political use of a murder by a presidential candidate and a head of state.

What is clear is that Capitanich is trying to rewrite history to distance himself from a scandal that destroyed his image. Instead of taking political responsibility for having supported the Sena family, he seeks to promote the idea of a conspiracy against him, even if that means turning against his own allies.

At the time of the crime, the closeness between the Sena family and the then provincial leader was undeniable: they shared official events, social programs, and economic ties. That relationship was exposed after the discovery of compelling evidence against the family accused of planning and carrying out the femicide.

The former governor's statements reopen a painful wound for Chaco society and for all of Argentina. The case of Cecilia Strzyzowski is a symbol of political and criminal impunity, while bringing it to the table just weeks before the elections is another symbol of unscrupulous politics.
