The endless legal war between Mariana Nannis and Claudio Paul Caniggia added a new chapter. In recent hours, the courts acquitted the former footballer in one of the most recent complaints filed by his ex-partner.
Nannis had accused Caniggia of disobeying a court order after traveling to Paraguay in March without authorization. The information came to light through a news report where their son Alex confirmed the trip, which prompted the complaint before the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 35, presided over by Dr. Osvaldo Rapa.
On the program DDM (América TV), journalist Martín Candalaft showed live the court document that confirmed Caniggia's acquittal. There, it was detailed that the courts did not find sufficient evidence to support the accusation of disobedience. The release of the document reinforced the defense's argument for the former footballer and left Nannis's complaint without support.

The complaint and the court ruling
According to the filing, Caniggia allegedly left the country on March 27 on a private flight to Paraguay and returned that same night to Buenos Aires. Nannis expanded her complaint on June 6, claiming she did not know her ex-husband's whereabouts and feared for her safety, even expressing the possibility that he might show up at her residence in Spain.
