Karin Cohen confirmed that she is leaving the hosting of Todas las Tardes on El Nueve and strongly criticized the channel. The journalist stated that the way they handled things with her was not the best and expressed her dissatisfaction with the final decision.
In a conversation with the radio program Se terminó la joda (Splendid AM 990), Cohen explained that her departure is by her own decision. According to her, the accumulated wear and the channel's management in recent weeks were decisive in her stepping aside.

What bothered her about the channel's actions?
"It's a loving dismissal. Several things happened that led me to decide to leave now," the host expressed. She added that the show doesn't have a clear end date, but there was already a desire to end it for months.
Cohen was candid about what hurt her the most: finding out that they were looking for a replacement while she was still on air. "The uncertainty bothered and hurt me. I don't want to get caught up, but it was messy," she stated firmly.
The value of effort
During the summer, the host took on the program with three-hour broadcasts. "I made a huge effort, and I said enough: the channel understood," she recalled. She even mentioned that the content director, Diego Toni, apologized to her, and she accepted the apologies respectfully.

Cohen stated that what weighed on her the most was the lack of recognition as a figure of the channel. "One seeks appreciation and I didn't feel it," she affirmed. "It could have been different, a cycle ends with a semi-bitter taste," she concluded with a reflective tone.
