Kicillof criticized Milei and gave a speech full of lies about Bahía Blanca.

Although the national Government was the first to help, the governor stated that he was 'from the very first moment.'

In the context of the crisis in Bahía Blanca, the ultra-Kirchnerist governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, once again criticized President Javier Milei and questioned the model of the country promoted by the libertarian administration.

During a poor event in Castelli, where he inaugurated a school, Kicillof referred to the tragedy in Bahía Blanca, where an unprecedented storm caused flooding, leaving at least 16 dead and enormous material losses.

In his speech full of lies, the Kirchnerist leader highlighted the "essential role of the State" and the solidarity of the people of Buenos Aires during the emergency, in contrast to the logic of "every man for himself" that, according to him, the current government promotes.

"There was a flood, we were immediately there. We mobilized State resources, then from neighboring municipalities, each of the mayors from all political parties called me," he stated, despite the fact that it was Milei's Government that first arrived through the help of the Armed Forces.

Kicillof emphasized that the response to the tragedy reflected a "different vision" about the role of the State and society: "These are times when there is a current of thought at the international level that says that to do well you have to strive as if you were in a jungle, survival of the fittest. Everyone has to save themselves."

"What happened in Bahía Blanca is moving because the State was there, all the ministries, all the mayors, the workers, many healthcare workers. But also, the people, the society, the province, and the entire Argentina," stated the disastrous governor of Buenos Aires.

Despite this context, Kicillof deepened his criticism of President Milei's model and highlighted that the tragedy in Bahía Blanca demonstrated the "value of solidarity in Argentine society."

Without explicitly mentioning the assistance of the national Government, Kicillof took the opportunity to emphasize his critical stance toward Milei.

"A chainsaw government came. The one of (Mauricio) Macri and (María Eugenia) Vidal was of chainsaw adjustment, of 'there's no money.' It wasn't zero public works, but it was little and then stopping everything, with what it implies to stop a work," he emphasized, despite the fact that he, as governor, is the directly responsible for the works in his province.
