Konami defined a clear goal for its historic horror saga:release a new Silent Hill every year. The plan is based on the franchise's recent strong performance and on a strategy of parallel developments.
After years of ups and downs, the series regained relevance with Silent Hill 2 Remake and Silent Hill f. That momentum allowed the Japanese publisher to plan an annual release schedule.

After Silent Hill 4: The Room in 2004, the franchise lost relevance. For years there were uneven releases and more disappointments than successes.
That outlook began to change with the announcement of the Silent Hill 2 remake. Despite initial doubts, Bloober Team's work ended up convincing fans and critics.

With that backing, Konami considers it feasible to maintain anannual release pace. In fact, it has already been achieving this with different projects.
The confirmation came from Japan
The information comes from an interview published by the Japanese magazine Famitsu. Motoi Okamoto, Silent Hill's producer, spoke there.

"Our goal is to release titles at a pace of approximately one per year", he explained. He clarified that the plan includes announced games and others that haven't been released yet.
Which Silent Hill games could arrive in the coming years?
Each installment is developed by adifferent team. That structure makes it possible to move forward with several projects simultaneously.
Within that framework appears Silent Hill Townfall, led by No Code, announced in 2022 and with a chance to arrive in 2026.

A new remake on the horizon
Looking further ahead, there is also mention of anew remake developed by Bloober. That project was made official this year.
If the plan holds, Silent Hill will once again have a constant presence. This is a scenario that was unthinkable just a few years ago.
