Cristina Kirchner imprisoned: Lali Espósito supported CFK and couldn't withstand the archive
The singer supported the convicted woman after having ousted her in 2013
Lali Espósito once again made a spectacle of herself on social media. The Kirchnerist singer used her X account (formerly Twitter) to comment on the recent Supreme Court ruling, which upheld the six-year prison sentence against former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner for fraudulent administration. "How dangerous. How sad", wrote the artist, generating a flood of negative responses.
The reaction quickly went viral, not only because of its current content, but also due to a fact that soon came to light: in 2013, Espósito had tweeted a direct criticism of Kirchnerism, during Cristina Kirchner's second term. "The level of corruption is total", she posted at that time. The post was retrieved by users who did not hesitate to expose the contradiction and accuse her of "double standards."
"Are we pretending to be surprised? She's 'K' for the money she gets, she probably doesn't care at all about politics", wrote a perceptive user on X.
Another added: "What happens is that after becoming more 'well-known' they hired her for some cash and she started thinking differently! Money makes the monkey dance...".

Some users even pointed out that the pop icon wrote these words exactly on April 14, 2013, the day Jorge Lanata presented on his show Periodismo para Todos (PPT) on eltrece his report titled "La ruta del dinero K."
In that report, the journalist focused on dismantling a possible money laundering network originating from politics and allegedly led by Lázaro Báez and Leonardo Fariña, two people who were highly trusted by the then president.
In recent years, Lali has adopted a more active political profile, especially since Javier Milei came to power. After the August 2023 primary elections, in which the current president was the most voted candidate, the singer expressed herself with irony and concern by posting: "How dangerous. How sad", exactly the same words she used now in response to the court ruling against Cristina Kirchner.
The dispute escalated quickly and, far from backing down, the former Casiángeles star chose to respond with her music. In her music video "Fanático," released months after the clash with Milei, she openly mocks the current president of the Nation.
