A teaser that previews an unforgettable odyssey

The trailer is being shown exclusively in theaters, but it was leaked on social media and caused a wave of comments. In it, viewers see the first signs of Odysseus's return to Ithaca after the Trojan War.

Robert Pattinson provides the voiceover at the beginning, with a striking phrase. "Darkness: Zeus's laws shattered. A kingdom without a king since the death of my lord."

Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal, and Matt Damon

Holland plays Telemachus, Odysseus's son. In one of the scenes, he asks Bernthal if he knows anything about his father. The answer leads to the mystery: "I don't know anything about Odysseus since Troy."

With this dialogue, Nolan seems to confirm the use of flashbacks and time jumps, one of his trademarks. Matt Damon is also seen, portraying Odysseus, lost at sea.

A cast full of stars

In addition to the main trio, the film adds heavyweight names such as Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong'o, and Ben Safdie. Everything indicates that it will be a global-scale blockbuster.

The film will be released on July 17, 2026, in IMAX format. Although there is still a long way to go, the teaser already positions "The Odyssey" as one of the most anticipated releases in recent years.
